The dimensions mentioned in the list are standard Australian bed sizes, before purchasing a fitted sheet make sure to double check if your mattress size falls into those standards. The dimensions advised are general guidelines only; each manufacturer has their own specifications for single, long single, king single, double, queen, split queen, king, and split king beds. Due to the cotton jersey fabric we use, It-fits fitted sheets are very flexible, so even if your mattress is as much as 8 centimetres longer, shorter, wider or narrower than a standard-sized Australian bed, the fitted sheet will still fit neatly. Itfits fitted sheets have a 40 cm deep wall, due to the fabric being a stretch style, this is about the same as a woven sheet with a 50 cm deep wall. Therefore, we recommend using It-fits fitted sheets for mattresses up to 37 cm deep to be on the safe side. With a 50 cm deep mattress, the dimensions of our fitted sheets may unfortunately not cover adequately. However, if your mattress consists of more than one piece, you could put one fitted sheet on the lower mattress and one fitted sheet on the topper. We had a customer do it this successfully before, and she was very satisfied with the fit.
