If you’ve ever struggled to find fitted sheets that actually fit—you’re not alone. Traditional sheets are rigid and unforgiving, especially on mattresses that are deeper, thinner, or just a little out of the “standard” range.
At It-Fits®, we’ve designed something different. Our fitted sheets are made from 100% Australian cotton jersey—a naturally stretchy, breathable fabric that hugs your mattress like your favourite tee. With a deep wall that’s equivalent to a 50 cm woven sheet, and a 360° elastic hem, our sheets flex and stretch to fit snugly — even if your mattress is up to 8 cm longer, shorter, wider or narrower than standard Australian sizes.
Whether you’re making an adjustable bed, a caravan bunk, or your classic queen, our sizing system is designed to be easy, forgiving, and ultra-comfy.
Here’s what each size fits and how our stretch makes it easier.
Single/long single
Fits mattresses: 92 cm wide x 188–203 cm long
Best for: Kids’ beds, solo sleepers, adjustable electric beds
Why it fits: Covers both standard and long lengths in one easy choice. Great for electric beds — our sheets flex with movement and stay smooth through the night.
King single
Fits mattresses: 107 cm wide x 203 cm long
Best for: Growing teens, taller solo sleepers, guest rooms
Why it fits: Our soft, flexible jersey stretches smoothly over this popular size—no bunching, no pulling.
Hot tip: Two King Singles are also a great fit for split California King beds, giving each sleeper independent comfort.
Double/long double
Fits mattresses: 138 cm wide x 188–203 cm long
Best for: Teen rooms, small master beds, solo adjustable beds
Why it fits: Whether your mattress is standard or a little longer, our deep-wall design and naturally stretchy cotton jersey provide a snug, easy fit—no need to wrestle with corners.
Queen
Fits mattresses: 158 cm wide x 203 cm long
Best for: Most Aussie master beds
Why it fits: Designed with real-life mattresses in mind—including pillow-tops and plush layers. Our stretch jersey hugs every curve, keeping corners secure and smooth.
King
Fits mattresses: 183 cm wide x 203 cm long
Best for: Spacious master beds, co-sleepers, luxury sleepers
Why it fits: Wide beds need extra give—and our jersey sheets stretch gently over every edge, holding firm without the bunching or slipping.
Split Queen
Fits mattresses: 2 x small single (76 cm wide x 188–203 cm long)
Best for: Split queen adjustable beds, caravan bunks, and narrow caravan beds
Why it fits: Comes as two Small Single sheets — purpose-built for split queen adjustable beds so each side moves completely independently, staying smooth and secure all night. Also a versatile caravan choice, fitting standard bunks and narrow mattresses with the same snug, stay-on stretch.
Split King
Fits mattresses: 2 x 92 cm wide x 188–203 cm long
Best for: Adjustable king beds with independent controls
Why it fits: Comes as two Single/Long Single sheets that flex and stretch individually—perfect for comfort, mobility, and a smooth, fuss-free fit.
