As the founder of It-Fits, most of my days are spent behind a computer screen, making sure we deliver the best quality with the best service. And while that work is important, it rarely gives me the chance to have face-to-face conversations with our customers.

This year, that changed. I had the chance to team up with Better Living Australia and showcase our jersey fitted sheets on their beds at the Home Show and Super Show in Brisbane and Sydney. What made it so special wasn’t just showing our sheets in action, but being able to talk directly to the people who use them — and to those who had already given up on finding sheets that truly fit.

Many visitors told me they were surprised and delighted to finally discover a simple solution that works. The conversations that followed revealed just how many common questions and misconceptions are still out there.

What Struck Me Most

What struck me most at the shows was how often the same questions came up. People were curious about what makes jersey fabric different. Real Conversations That Stay With Me

One of the most rewarding parts was hearing honest feedback right there on the spot. Some people shared how surprised they were by the softness of the jersey fabric. Others said they were relieved to find sheets that actually stayed put.

One conversation especially warmed my heart. A lady came by, already a happy customer, and told me how much she loved our products. She didn’t know I was the founder at first, but after we chatted for a while, she smiled and said, “The person behind this must be a woman.” That comment made me chuckle — and reminded me how thoughtful design really does make a difference.
